Business Analyst (APMOS)

Location: Hong Kong


  • Communicate with the relevant stakeholders to gather and comprehend business requirements, and translate them into functional spec and system workflow
  • Define and articulate unambiguous implementation instructions for the development teams, success criteria for the test team and operational changes (when applicable) for end use
  • Propose operational solution to improve and bring about high-quality system solutions, including producing documentation that includes user requirement specifications and change request specifications
  • Validating business requirements to align with business/operations needs as well as IT architecture and security standards
  • Review and improve functional specifications of the system from time to time


  • Degree in Computer Science/Finance or a related discipline with at least 3+ years of BA/PM working experience, preferably gained from the banking/brokerage/trading industry
  • Good understanding of financial products, trading lifecycle, database and system architecture
  • Excellent skills in requirement analysis and business documentation writing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to work independently
  • Able to challenge status quo when necessary for improvements
