Head of Venture Capital Investment

Usman is the Head of Crypto and VC Investments at AP Capital, where he brings more than 5 years of experience as a trader, quantitative, and business analyst.

Prior to joining AP Capital, Usman was a quantitative analyst at Quantolio, a firm that augments the investment management process through Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Usman leveraged AI methods, including deep learning and reinforcement learning, to develop predictive algorithms for pricing and determining optimal trading policy, with a primary emphasis on liquid asset classes.

Since joining AP Capital, Usman has helped set a solid investing strategy, oversee day-to-day operations and continuously improve our crypto-focused systems and infrastructure. Usman holds a B.A., Major in Economics and Minor in Computer Science, from McGill University.
